I was blind to the world
Trying to make a living
From a hopeless company
That no-one bought from
And no-one cared about
Or even gave a fuck

So I set myself up
A fake account
And shifted all my funds
Quietly and carefully
To an off-shore accountant
That no-one knew about

So forgive me for these wrongs
Forgive me if I failed you
But you failed me
And never even asked if there was more that could be done
To keep ME satisfied

I stole all your money
I stole your milk and honey
I stole your family jewels
There was not a lot of those!
I stole your credit cards
And stole your identity

So I’m sorry what I done
No I’m not .. I’m sorry I got caught
And now I’m doing time
In this open prison
For a white collar crime
For which I got committed
Trying to work out
How I got caught!
